Participant at the 24 hour camp

So I'm going to tell you how was it like to be a participant at the 24 hour camp. I participated in the 24 hour camp because I was a host of a German student and all the German students participated in the camp so I also participated in.

The first thing what we did there was that the campleaders introduced themselves and they gave us our own groups. My groupmembers were three students from our school and  two German girls: Rebecca and Lisa. The atmosphere of our group was very good during the whole camp and we invented a company which arranged parties.

We had quite much time to develop our company and we were developing it until three o'clock if I remember right. So it was very tiring job to invent a business idea when we just had 24 hours but it was also interesting to think all those things that you can start doing business.

In my opinion the funniest thing at the camp was speaking English and being with the German students and the other participants at the camp because everything turned ot to be funny when we were tired and just laughing at everything. And I also liked when we were at the campfire in the midnight making some grillfood: sausages because it was nice to let the German students know some traditional Finnish things for example traditonal Finnish foods.

We also had a chance to go to sauna and I think it was one of the best experience what the German students had during their stay in Finland. We showed them how Finnish people bath in sauna and we were also sining some saunasongs which we had learned in our confirmation camps.

In the morning we had a happening were all the groups presented their business ideas and all the business ideas were creative and different. It was quite suspenseful to be in front of everybody, speak English and present a business idea but our group's presentation went well. Then the jury was making a decision of the three best groups and the participants were wating nervously. When the jury was awarding the third best group I was surprised because our group wast the third best.
To sum up the camp was a nice experience and I was enjoying the time together with the German students. But when I came back home I slept like a log!
